Hi,
My name is Darek and I’m from Poland, but currently I live in Norway… in northern Norway.
Due to lack of time I’m not able to make all of my webpage in English. Thus I decided to make short one version with guidance to my Polish version, after that you should know few things about me and also recognize few words in Polish (which, for me, is very beautiful language).
I would like that you know that I love sailing. I spent many days and weeks on the sea. I love this moment when I leave port behind my back with it’s problems and worries. When I am in the middle of the sea I feel like a free bird… especially on the Atlantic Ocean (which is my favorite place to sail).
On the top there is menu which I’d like to explain. First is „Wodą” – this is about my sail trips and races which I took a part.
Than we have „Lądem” which means „by land”. There are stories about my journeys by land to different places i.e. Morocco, Jordan, Israel etc.
„Artykuły” – „Articles”. This page is about sailng, yachts and tallships on which I was sailing.
„Polskie jachty” means „Polish yachts”. They are very specific. Most of them are long keel, more than 20 years old, in bad condition… You perhaps think „why in the devil you risk your life?”. Well, answer is very simple. At the beginning there were no other option to sailing. Another point is that these boats are very brave. On these yachts I have organised and led the most of my spectacular sails trips i.e. to Nordkapp, Madeira, Morocco, Iceland…
I also descirbed chartered yachts on which I was sailing („zagraniczne”). I rent these yachts, mainly in Croatia, Greece, Turkey and Carribean Sea. And finally I wrote few words about tall ships on which I spent hours and weeks as a mate or a chief mate.
„Kursy” which you can translate as a „Trainings”. From time to time I organise some trainings so I would like that people could find them 
„Różne” – „Others” articles about sea life and sailing.
Next one is my photo gallery, which in Polish is „Galeria”. I put there many photos from my trips both sailing and non sailing (I have few others things which I like to do). I tried that titles of albums should be clear apart that you speak Polish or not.
After that, there is „Linki” – links to other web pages which I decided are interesting and important.
Next one is „Różne” – „Other stuff”. I put there different things. One is important, one is funny, other is crap.
Than there is ”O mnie” which means „About me”, where is few words about me, my sailtrips etc. but in polish.

About me:
I has been sailing on the seas and oceans since I was boy. I covered a distance more than 40000 Nm as a captain, chief mate and mate on yachts of LOA from 8 to 55 meters (also catamarans). As a captain I took a part in Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) in 2009 and I scored 5th of 18th positions in group (40th of 182th in total). I also was sailing almost everywhere in Europe (including Iceland and Nordkapp), but also in Morocco, Turkey (Asian part) and on the Caribbean Sea.
I had five years of varied management experience within the marine sector. I was administrator of two yachts (LOA 14m and 8m) for five years. I have certificates:
